Position: Summer Camp Lead - Youth Pickleball
Location: YYC Pickleball Facility
Commitment: Seasonal (Summer 2026) | Full-time or part-time during camp sessions
Role Overview
The Summer Camp Lead will oversee the delivery of Youth Pickleball Camps, ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment for all participants. This role involves planning and leading pickleball and other activities, supervising campers, and coordinating with volunteers and staff to provide an exceptional camp experience.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership:
Lead daily pickleball activities, drills, and games tailored to youth skill levels.
Ensure all activities are age-appropriate, inclusive, and aligned with camp objectives.
Supervision & Safety:
Maintain a safe environment by enforcing facility rules and monitoring camper behavior.
Respond promptly to any safety concerns or incidents and report to management.
Volunteer Coordination:
Direct and support camp volunteers to assist with activities and supervision.
Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents during camp hours.
Provide clear instructions and updates to campers and volunteers.
Set-Up & Clean-Up:
Prepare courts and equipment before sessions and ensure proper clean-up afterward.
Reporting:
Track attendance, incidents, and provide feedback to the Company after each camp session.
Qualifications
Experience working with youth in a recreational or educational setting.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of pickleball rules and basic techniques (coaching experience is an asset).
Ability to manage groups and maintain a positive, safe environment.
First Aid/CPR certification preferred

Volunteer Role Overview
Summer Camp Volunteers support the Camp Lead in delivering full-week day camps for youth ages 8–12. Volunteers play an important role in creating a safe, engaging, and positive camp environment by assisting with activities, supervising participants, and ensuring campers have a fun and rewarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Camp Lead with daily camp activities and schedules
Assist with pickleball drills, games, and recreational activities as planned by the Camp Lead
Monitor campers to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior
Help set up and take down equipment as needed
Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and inclusion among campers
Provide general supervision during breaks, transitions, and activities
Ideal Volunteer Profile
Enjoys working with children ages 8–12
Positive, enthusiastic, and reliable
Able to follow direction and work as part of a team
Interest in sports, recreation, or pickleball is an asset (no prior pickleball experience required)
Experience working with children is an asset but not required

Front Desk Associate

Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Front Desk Associate to be the face of our facility. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing court reservations, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist members and guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Answer inquiries about facility services, membership options, and pickleball programs.
Manage court reservations, ensuring efficient scheduling and accuracy.
Collect fees and process payments accurately using our point-of-sale system.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Communicate effectively with staff, coaches, and management to coordinate daily operations.
Assist in organizing and promoting events, tournaments, and clinics.
Provide support for facility upkeep and equipment maintenance.
Uphold facility policies and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all players.
Address member and guest concerns and escalate issues as needed.
Contribute to the positive and inclusive atmosphere of our pickleball community.
Schedule
This is a Part-Time position. Our facility operates 7 days a week between 8am and 10pm, and availability during these times is essential.
